University Outreach and Engagement - MSU Extension Grant
For 2007-2008, one $30,000 award will be made for research on positive youth development. The project must focus on positive outcomes for children, youth, and families and be located at MSU-Detroit Partnerships at YouthVille.
This year MSU formalized an ongoing relationship with the Detroit Youth Foundation by establishing the new MSU-Detroit Partnerships office in the Foundation's YouthVille Detroit facility.
The MSU-Detroit Partnerships office serves as a hub for MSU research in the Detroit and Wayne county area, especially research that focuses on youth, community, and economic development.
Come and visit – take a tour!
Would you like a tour of the MSU-Detroit Partnerships office? Researchers and potential community partners are welcome.
Contact Judith Thornburg-Richmond, who’ll be happy to schedule a tour. The facility is ideal for collaborative work and fully equipped for community-based research. Learn more about the facility.
